How to send text messages and multimedia messages on my Sony Xperia SP

Text messages (SMS) are short, text-only messages sent over the mobile network. Multimedia messages (MMS) are similar to text messages except they allow you to add images, sounds or other files to the message.
1. Touch Applications.
2. Touch Messaging.
3. Touch the Compose icon.
4. Touch the Add contacts icon to select recipients from your contacts list.
Or, enter the recipients' mobile phone numbers.
5. Touch the desired contact(s).
6. Touch Done.
7. Touch Write message.
8. Enter your message.
9. Touch Send to send the text message or touch the Attach icon to make this a multimedia message.
10. Select an attachment option (e.g., Add picture).
11. Touch a photo to attach it.
12. Touch Send.
13. The message has been sent.
