Power saving mode (extended standby mode) optimizes battery life on your Alcatel Idol 2 S. When the screen is on, your phone will save power by lowering the screen brightness, turning off haptic (touch-based) feedback and limiting the phone's performance. You will still receive messages and notifications.
1. Touch ALL APPS.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Touch Battery management.
4. Touch Saving mode.
5. Saving mode is now on.
Touch the tab again to turn off power saving mode.
