How to update the software on my Alcatel Idol 2 S wirelessly

When new versions are available, you can update the software on your Alcatel Idol 2 S for extra features and better performance. Here, we show you how to update the software wirelessly ("over the air").
1. Touch ALL APPS.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch About phone.
4. Touch System updates.
5. Touch Check for updates.
6. If an update is available, touch Download.
If an update isn't available, touch Home to return to the home screen.
7. Wait while the update is downloaded.
8. Touch Install.
9. The phone will restart and install the update.
