If your workplace allows it, you can sync your Alcatel Idol 4 with your work contacts, calendar and email.
1. Touch Apps.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Accounts.
4. Touch Add account.
5. Touch Exchange.
6. Touch Enter your email.
7. Enter your workplace email address.
8. Scroll to and touch MANUAL SETUP.
9. Touch Exchange.
10. Touch NEXT.
11. Touch Password.
12. Enter your email account password.
13. Touch NEXT.
For the following steps, you might need information from your corporate IT department.
14. Touch Domain\Username.
15. Enter the domain name and user name.
16. Scroll to and touch Server.
17. Enter the server address.
18. Touch NEXT.
19. Wait while the phone verifies the account information.
20. Touch OK.
21. Touch NEXT.
22. Touch ACTIVATE.
23. Enter a name for the account.
24. Touch NEXT.
25. The email account has been added. To view the email account, touch Home.
26. Touch Apps.
27. Touch Gmail.
28. Your email will sync to your phone.
