How to insert and remove the SIM card on my BlackBerry Bold 9700

These steps show you how to correctly insert the SIM card into your BlackBerry® Bold 9700.
1. Slide the battery cover towards the bottom of the Bold 9700 and lift away.
2. Insert the SIM card with the metal contacts facing down and slide it into the SIM tray.
3. Line up the gold contacts on the battery with the contacts on the Bold 9700. Insert the top part of the battery first, then push the battery down into place.
4. Slide the battery cover toward the top of the Bold 9700 until it clicks into place.
