These steps will show you how to correctly insert the battery into your BlackBerry® smartphone.
1. Slide the battery cover towards the bottom of the BlackBerry smartphone and lift away.
2. Line up the gold contacts on the battery with the contacts on the BlackBerry smartphone. Insert the top part of the battery first, then push the battery down into place.
3. Slide the battery cover toward the top of the BlackBerry smartphone until it clicks into place.
