How to set up the screen lock on my BlackBerry Classic

You can set a screen lock (password) for your BlackBerry Classic. The password will be required to unlock the phone from standby mode.
1. Swipe left to access apps.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Security and Privacy.
4. Touch Device Password.
5. Touch the slider next to Device Password.
6. Enter a password.
7. Touch Confirm password.
8. Enter the password again.
9. Touch OK.
10. The password has been set.
