How to turn airplane mode on and off on my BlackBerry Classic

"Airplane mode" turns off the wireless signals in the BlackBerry Classic. You should use airplane mode in airplanes and other areas where radio transmitters aren't allowed.
1. Swipe left to access apps.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Touch the Airplane Mode slider to change the status.
For example, if airplane mode is off, touch the slider to turn it on.
4. Airplane mode is now on.
Touch the slider again to turn it off.
