  • You can use your BlackBerry Classic as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot. This lets you share your phone's Internet connection with other devices via Wi-Fi.

    Please note: when other devices connect to your hotspot, they use data from your mobile service and charges may apply.
  • 1. Swipe left to access apps.
  • 2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
  • 3. Touch Networks and Connections.
  • 4. Scroll to and touch Mobile Hotspot.
  • 5. Touch Next.
  • 6. Review the Charges May Apply message, then touch Next.
  • 7. Review the Monitor Hotspot Users message, then touch Next.
  • 8. Review the Preserve Your Battery message, then touch Next.
  • 9. Review the Inactivity Timer message, then touch Next.
  • 10. Enter a password for your hotspot.
  • 11. Touch Next.
  • 12. Touch Configure.
  • 13. Touch Mobile Hotspot Name.
  • 14. Delete the existing text and enter a name for your hotspot.
  • 15. Touch Save.
  • 16. The portable Wi-Fi hotspot is now active.
    Other devices can connect to it using the hotspot name and password that you've set up.
