How to scan for available networks on my BlackBerry Curve 9300

You can scan for available mobile networks if your BlackBerry® smartphone isn't connecting automatically, or if you want to switch networks while roaming.
1. Press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to and select Options.
3. Scroll to and select Mobile Network.
4. Scroll to and select Network Selection Mode.
5. Scroll to and select Manual.
6. The BlackBerry® smartphone will scan for available networks.
7. The available networks will be listed.
Select the network you want to use.
8. Wait while the BlackBerry smartphone switches to the required network.
9. The network selection is complete. Select OK.
