If you don't have an email account to use with your BlackBerry® smartphone, you can create a BlackBerry email account directly from the BlackBerry smartphone.
1. Press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to and select Setup.
3. Scroll to and select Email Settings.
4. Wait for your BlackBerry smartphone to connect.
5. Scroll to and select Create New Address.
6. Enter a username.
7. Scroll to Password.
8. Enter a password for your account.
9. Scroll to Confirm password.
10. Re-enter your password.
11. Scroll to and select Secret question.
12. Select the required option (e.g. Favorite vegetable).
13. Enter your answer.
14. Scroll to and select Next.
15. Wait for your BlackBerry smartphone to process the information.
16. Your email account has been created. Select OK.
