How to turn data services and/or data roaming on/off on my BlackBerry Torch 9800

When abroad, we recommend that you turn off data roaming to avoid unwanted roaming charges when using email, web browsing and other data services. If required you can switch the network off so that the BlackBerry Torch 9800 will not transmit data without a Wi-Fi connection.
1. Touch All.
2. Scroll to and touch Options.
3. Touch Networks and Connections.
4. Touch Mobile Network.
5. Touch While Roaming.
6. Touch the required setting (e.g. Off).
7. The setting has been applied.
8. To switch the network off completely, touch Data Services.
9. Touch the required setting (e.g. Off).
10. Data services are now off.
Touch Data Services again to turn data services on.
