How to update the software on my BlackBerry Torch 9800

When updates are available, you can upgrade your BlackBerry® smartphone's software to add new features and functions. In this example, we've used BlackBerry Desktop Software v6.1.0.35.
1. Ensure your BlackBerry smartphone is connected to BlackBerry Desktop Software.
2. Click Update my device...
3. BlackBerry Desktop Software will now check for updates.
4. If there is an update available, click Get update.
5. Select the required settings, then enter your email address.
6. Click Install update.
7. The update will now be applied to your BlackBerry smartphone.
8. Your BlackBerry smartphone has been successfully updated.
