How to send text messages and multimedia messages on my BlackBerry Torch 9810

Text messages (SMS) are short, text-only messages sent over the mobile network. Multimedia messages (MMS) are similar to text messages except they allow you to add images, sounds or other files to the message.
1. Touch All.
2. Touch Text Messages.
3. Touch New message.
4. Start typing a contact's name or phone number.
5. Touch the required contact.
6. Touch the text message field.
7. Enter your message.
8. Touch Enter to send the text message or press the Menu key to make this a multimedia message.
9. Touch Attach.
10. Touch the required attachment (e.g. Picture).
11. Touch the required album (e.g. Camera Pictures).
12. Touch the required picture.
13. Press the Menu key.
14. Touch Send.
15. Your message is now being sent.
