How to perform a hard reset when my HTC One is unresponsive

If the HTC One becomes unresponsive or doesn't perform as expected, you can perform a hard reset to return it to a factory default state.
1. Press and hold the Power button. Keep the button held down until the screen goes off.
2. The phone will now restart.
3. The phone will reset some settings and then reboot. Personal data and accounts will remain untouched.
