How to link contacts from multiple accounts on my HTC Sensation 4G

Contacts from different email and social network accounts can be linked into one contact which holds all the combined information.
1. Touch All apps.
2. Scroll to and touch People.
3. Touch the required contact.
4. Touch Link.
5. Touch All contacts.
6. Touch the contact you wish to link to.
7. Touch Done.
8. Touch Return.
9. The contacts have been linked.
