  • Use the Transfer application to transfer your contacts, calendar events and text messages from your old phone to your new phone.
  • 1. Touch All apps.
  • 2. Scroll to and touch Transfer.
  • 3. Touch Next.
  • 4. Touch the manufacturer of your old phone (e.g. BlackBerry).
  • 5. Touch Next.
  • 6. Scroll to and touch your model name.
    If your old phone is not listed, scroll to and touch Others.
  • 7. Touch Next.

  • 9. Ensure your old phone has Bluetooth® turned on and is discoverable. Touch Next.
  • 10. The phone will scan for nearby phones.
  • 11. Touch the name of your old phone.
  • 12. Touch Next.
  • 13. Your phone will query the phone model.
  • 14. If you see this screen, you may need to accept or authorize the connection on your old phone.
  • 15. Touch Contacts.
  • 16. Some of the contact information may not be transferred from your old phone.
    Touch OK.
  • 17. Touch Next.
  • 18. The phone will begin to transfer the contacts.
    You may need to accept or authorize the connection on your old phone.
  • 19. Wait while the transfer is completed.
  • 20. Touch Done.
  • 21. Scroll to and touch People.
  • 22. The contacts have been transferred.
  • Note: This process may not transfer all the details of every contact. Images and some other fields might not get transferred.
