You can remove any screen locks that you've set up; a pattern or password won't be required to unlock the phone from standby.
1. Touch Menu.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Security.
4. Touch Change screen lock.
5. Enter your password.
6. Touch Continue.
7. Touch None.
8. The screen unlock settings have been disabled.
