How to link contacts from multiple accounts on my HTC Wildfire S

Contacts from different email and social network accounts can be linked into one contact which holds all the combined information.
1. Touch All apps.
2. Scroll to and touch People.
3. Touch the required contact.
4. Touch the Link icon.
5. Touch All contacts.
6. Touch the required contact.
7. Touch Done.
8. The contacts have been linked.
