How to change the email syncing frequency on my HTC Windows Phone 8S

If your HTC Windows Phone 8S automatically checks for new email messages, it will access the mobile network often, which can use a lot of battery power. Turning this setting down or off will help prolong battery life.
1. Swipe left to go to the App list.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Touch email + accounts.
4. Touch the account you want to edit.
5. Touch Download new content.
6. Touch the required setting (e.g., manually).
7. Touch the check mark icon.
8. The email syncing frequency has been changed.
