How to delete a calendar event on my HTC Windows Phone 8S

Calendar entries can be removed from the HTC Windows Phone 8S if they're no longer needed.
1. Swipe left to go to the App list.
2. Touch Calendar.
3. Scroll to the event date.
4. Touch and hold the event you want to delete.
5. Touch delete.
6. Touch delete.
7. The calendar event has been deleted.
