When you create or sign in with a Microsoft account, you'll have access to thousands of apps in the Microsoft Store, access to SkyDrive, Outlook.com, and other applications. When you first start or hard reset your HTC Windows Phone 8S, you'll be prompted to add a Microsoft account.
1. Touch get started.
2. Touch the required language, then touch next.
3. Touch accept.
4. Touch recommended.
5. Check the time and date details are correct, then touch next.
6. Touch create one.
7. Touch Microsoft account.
8. Enter the Microsoft account ID you want to use.
9. Touch next.
10. The phone will check the availability of the chosen Microsoft account ID.
11. If the chosen account name is available, touch New password.
12. Enter your required password.
13. Touch Confirm password.
14. Re-enter your password.
15. Touch next.
16. Touch Alternative email address.
17. Enter an alternative email address.
18. Touch Date of birth.
19. Scroll to your date of birth.
20. Touch the check mark icon.
21. Enter your postcode if required, then touch next.
22. Touch your required back up option (e.g., yes).
23. Your Microsoft account has been set up, touch done.
