How to set up the screen lock on my HTC Windows Phone 8S

You can set a screen lock (password) for your HTC Windows Phone 8S. The password will be required to unlock the phone from standby mode.
1. Swipe left to go to the App list.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Touch lock screen.
4. Scroll to and touch the Password slider.
5. Enter a password.
6. Touch Confirm password.
7. Enter the password again.
8. Touch done.
9. The password has been set.
