Your email usually synchronizes on a set schedule. However, you can manually sync email accounts whenever you like.
1. Swipe left to go to the App list.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Touch email + accounts.
4. Touch and hold the account you want to sync.
5. Touch sync.
6. The account will sync.
