How to turn data roaming and data services on/off on my HTC Windows Phone 8S

When abroad, you need to turn on data roaming to use email, web browsing and other data services. Data roaming charges will apply.

To avoid unwanted roaming charges, you can turn off data roaming. You can also turn off mobile data altogether. This way, your HTC Windows Phone 8S will only connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi.
1. Swipe left to go to the App list.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch mobile network.
4. Touch Data roaming options.
5. Touch the required setting (e.g., roam or don't roam).
6. The setting has been applied.
7. To switch the data network off completely, touch Data connection.
8. Touch off.
9. The setting has been applied.
