How to send text messages and multimedia messages on my Huawei P20 Pro

Text messages (SMS) are short, text-only messages sent over the mobile network. Multimedia messages (MMS) are similar to text messages except they allow you to add images, sounds or other files to the message.
1. Touch Messages.
2. Touch the + icon.
3. Enter the recipientʼs name to select someone from your contacts list. Or, enter the recipientʼs mobile phone number.
4. Enter your message.
5. Touch the Send icon to send the text message or touch the + icon to make this a multimedia message.
6. Touch the Gallery icon to go to your own photos.
7. Touch the desired photo(s).
8. Touch the Checkmark icon.
9. Touch the Send icon.
10. The message has been sent.
