With the preview option, you can get a quick look at new messages without having to open the app.
1. Touch Apps.
2. Touch Messaging.
3. Touch the Menu icon.
4. Touch Settings.
5. Touch Notification.
6. Touch Preview.
7. Previews have been enabled.
Touch Preview again to disable it.
