How to set automatic deletion of old messages on my LG K4 2017

This feature will automatically delete old messages once the limit is reached.
1. Touch Messaging.
2. Touch the Menu icon.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch More.
5. Touch Storage.
6. Touch the Delete old messages slider to turn it on.
7. Automatic deletion of old messages has been set.
