How to force stop (quit) an app on my LG Nexus 5

If an app becomes unresponsive, you can force it to close using the "force stop" option.
1. Touch Apps.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Apps.
4. Touch desired app.
5. Touch FORCE STOP.
6. Touch OK.
7. The app has now stopped.
