These steps will show you how to correctly insert the battery into your LG Optimus Chic.
1. Lift the bottom of the battery cover and pull it away from the Optimus Chic.
2. Line up the gold contacts on the battery with the contacts on the Optimus Chic. Insert the top part of the battery first, then push the battery down into place.
3. Place the battery cover over the Optimus Chic, then push down until it clicks into place.
