  • If you have problems sending or receiving email on your LG Optimus Net, you may need to change the email server settings. Please contact your email provider to obtain the correct settings.
  • 1. Touch Applications.
  • 2. Touch Email.
  • 3. Touch and hold the account you want to change.
  • 4. Touch Account settings.
  • 5. Scroll to Server settings. To change the outgoing server settings, touch Outgoing settings.
  • 6. Edit the SMTP server.
  • 7. Touch Done.
  • 8. Edit the port number.
  • 9. Touch Next.
  • 10. Wait while the phone checks the outgoing server settings.
  • 11. Scroll to and touch Email check frequency.
  • 12. Touch the required setting (e.g. Every 15 minutes).
  • 13. Touch Account name.
  • 14. Change the account name if required.
  • 15. Touch OK.
  • 16. Press the Return key.
  • 17. The changes have been saved.
  • Note: Entering the wrong settings can stop your LG Optimus Net from sending and/or receiving email. If you can't get the email server to connect, ensure the settings are correct and working on a home computer. Also, make sure you're connected to the Internet.
