How to set up a new LG Q Stylo+ using the setup wizard

When you use your LG Q Stylo+ for the first time, it will take you through a setup wizard and help you set up some key features. For example, you can enable the Device Protection feature by adding a Google account and setting a screen lock.

Device Protection helps to protect your phone from being used if it's lost or stolen. Even if your LG Q Stylo+ is erased, your Google account password will be required before anyone can use it.

Please note: the steps may differ depending on the options selected. Simply follow the prompts on the LG Q Stylo+ to complete the setup wizard.
1. Select the desired language and touch the Arrow icon.
2. Touch the Wi-Fi slider to turn it on.
3. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear. To connect, touch the Wi-Fi network name.
4. Enter the Wi-Fi network password.
5. Touch CONNECT.
6. Touch NEXT.
7. Touch the desired option, e.g., Set up as new.
8. Sign in to your Google account or create a new one. To sign in, touch Email or phone.

Note: a Google account is needed to use certain features such as Device Protection, Google Hangouts and Google Play Store.
9. Enter your Google account email address.
10. Touch NEXT.
11. Enter your Google account password.
12. Touch NEXT.
13. Touch I AGREE.
14. Touch the desired option, e.g., Set up fingerprint, then touch NEXT.
15. Touch the type of screen lock you want to use. In this example, a PIN will be used.
16. Touch the desired option, e.g., Require PIN to turn on phone, then touch NEXT.
17. Enter your desired PIN.
18. Touch NEXT.
19. Re-enter your PIN to confirm it.
20. Touch OK.
21. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to start the fingerprint scan.
22. Keep placing and lifting your finger on the fingerprint sensor, following the instructions on the phone, until the scan is complete.
23. Touch OK.
24. Touch NEXT.
25. A list of options will appear and you can touch the sliders to enable or disable them. Touch MORE to continue.
26. Touch I AGREE.
27. A list of legal documents will appear. Touch the checkbox next to I agree to all LG Legal documents to confirm your agreement. Touch MORE to continue.
28. Scroll to and touch any other checkboxes if desired, then touch DONE.
29. Your LG Q Stylo+ is now ready to use.
