  • When you use your LG X Power for the first time, it will take you through a setup wizard and help you set up some key features. For example, you can enable the Device Protection feature by adding a Google account and setting a screen lock.

    Device Protection helps to protect your phone from being used if it's lost or stolen. Even if your LG X Power is erased, your Google account password will be required before anyone can use it.

    Note: The steps may differ depending on the options selected. Simply follow the prompts on the LG X Power to complete the setup wizard.
  • 1. Scroll to the desired language and touch the Arrow icon.
  • 2. The LG X Power will scan for Wi-Fi networks and display a list. To connect to Wi-Fi, touch a network name and enter the network password. Otherwise, touch NEXT to skip Wi-Fi and use mobile data instead.
  • 3. Sign in to your Google account or create a new one. To sign in, enter your Google account email address and touch NEXT.

    Note: A Google account is needed to take advantage of Android features such as Device Protection, Gmail, Google Hangouts and Google Play Store.
  • 4. Enter your Google password and touch NEXT.
  • 5. Touch ACCEPT.
  • 6. Scroll down to review and select/deselect Google services. Touch NEXT.
  • 7. Touch Protect this device to enable Device Protection.
  • 8. Touch NEXT.
  • 9. Touch the desired screen lock option. In this example, a PIN will be used.
  • 10. Enter a PIN and touch Next.
  • 11. Re-enter the PIN and touch Done.
  • 12. Touch the desired option (e.g., Hide sensitive only) and touch OK.
  • 13. Read the End-User Licence Agreement and touch I agree.
  • 14. Touch DONE.
  • 15. The LG X Power is now ready to use.
