How to disable fingerprint unlock on my Motorola Moto E5 Play

Fingerprint unlock is a security feature that uses fingerprint recognition technology. If you no longer want to use it, you can delete any saved fingerprints and turn off fingerprint unlock. To protect your Motorola Moto E5 Play, make sure that another type of screen lock is set up, such as a PIN or password.
1. Swipe up to view Apps.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Security & location.
4. Touch Fingerprint.
5. Enter your PIN/password/pattern.
6. Touch the Next icon.
7. Touch the Trash can icon by the name of the fingerprint you want to remove (e.g., Finger 1).
8. Touch DELETE.
9. Touch YES, REMOVE.
10. Fingerprint unlock has been disabled.
