How to reset my Motorola Moto X Play and/or disable Device Protection

This option lets you erase all of the content and settings on your Motorola Moto X Play.

IMPORTANT:
All media, data and settings will be erased. This action cannot be undone.
If the Device Protection feature is enabled, it will stay enabled. After the reset, you will need to enter your Google account password in order to use the phone again.
1. Touch Applications.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Backup & reset.
4. Touch Factory data reset.
5. Read the warning and touch RESET PHONE.
6. If you're prompted for screen lock credentials, enter your PIN/password/pattern.
7. Touch the arrow icon.
8. Touch ERASE EVERYTHING.
9. The phone will reset and reboot.
