Fingerprint unlock is a security feature that uses fingerprint recognition technology. It lets you unlock the Motorola Moto Z³ Play using the fingerprint scanner located on the side of your phone.
1. Swipe up to view Apps.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Security & location.
4. Touch Fingerprint.
5. Touch SET UP FINGERPRINT.
6. Touch the desired backup option, e.g., Fingerprint + PIN.
7. Enter a PIN.
8. Touch NEXT.
9. Re-enter your PIN.
10. Touch OK.
11. Touch the desired option and then touch DONE.
12. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor.
13. Touch START.
14. Keep placing and lifting your finger on the fingerprint sensor until the scan is complete.
15. Touch DONE.
16. Fingerprint unlock has been setup.
