How to disable fingerprint unlock on my Motorola Moto Z² Play

Fingerprint unlock is a security feature that uses fingerprint recognition technology. If you no longer want to use fingerprint unlock, you need to remove all registered fingerprints.
1. Swipe up to view Apps.
2. Scroll to and touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Security.
4. Touch Fingerprint.
5. Enter your PIN/password/pattern and touch the Arrow icon.
6. Touch the Trash can icon on the fingerprint you wish to delete.

Note: If you have added more than one fingerprint, you will need to delete all registered fingerprints to disable fingerprint unlock.
7. Touch DELETE.
8. When removing the last fingerprint, a warning message will appear. Read the warning and touch YES, REMOVE.
9. Fingerprint unlock has been disabled.
