  • If you have trouble sending or receiving email on your Motorola RAZR V, you might need to change the email server settings. Please contact your email provider to obtain the correct settings.
  • 1. Touch Applications.
  • 2. Touch Email.
  • 3. Touch Settings.
  • 4. Touch the account you want to change.
  • 5. The most common settings to change are the outgoing settings.
    Scroll to and touch Outgoing settings.
  • 6. Edit the SMTP server name.
  • 7. Touch Port.
  • 8. Edit the port number.
  • 9. Touch Done.
  • 10. Touch Done.
  • 11. The changes have been saved.
  • Note: Entering the wrong settings can stop your Motorola RAZR V from sending and/or receiving email. If you can't get the email server to connect, ensure the settings are correct and working on a home computer. Also, make sure you're connected to the Internet.
