Fingerprint unlock is a security feature that uses fingerprint recognition technology. It lets you unlock the Samsung Galaxy Note9 using the fingerprint sensor located on the back of the phone.
1. Swipe up or down to view Apps.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Biometrics and security.
4. Touch Fingerprint Scanner.
5. Touch CONTINUE.
6. Touch the desired option (e.g., PIN).
7. Enter a PIN.
8. Touch CONTINUE.
9. Re-enter the PIN and touch OK.
10. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor repeatedly until the scan is complete.
11. Touch DONE.
12. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor again to verify it.
13. Touch TURN ON.
14. Fingerprint unlock has been set up.
