How to set up Fingerprint unlock on my Samsung Galaxy S5

Fingerprint unlock is a security feature that uses fingerprint recognition technology instead of a PIN or password. It lets you unlock the Samsung Galaxy S5 using the fingerprint reader located in the home button.
1. Touch Apps.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch Lock screen.
4. Touch Screen lock.
5. Touch Fingerprint.
6. Touch OK.
7. Place your finger or thumb over the Home button to start the fingerprint recognition process.

Keep placing your finger or thumb on the home button to build up the pattern.
8. When the fingerprint recognition process is complete, you will be asked to create a backup password in case Fingerprint unlock can't unlock the phone.

Touch DONE.
9. Enter a password.
10. Touch CONTINUE.
11. Re-enter the password to confirm it.
12. Touch OK.
13. Fingerprint unlock has been set up.
14. Touch DONE.
15. To unlock the Samsung Galaxy S5 from standby mode, just place your finger or thumb on the Home button and it will unlock.

Note:You will have a maximum of five attempts to unlock the Samsung Galaxy S5 using your registered fingerprint before being asked to enter your backup password.
