  • You can use your Samsung Galaxy S II 4G as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot. This lets you share your phone's Internet connection with other devices via Wi-Fi.

  • 2. Touch Settings.
  • 3. Touch More…
  • 4. Touch Tethering and portable hotspot.
  • 5. Touch Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • 6. Touch Network SSID.
  • 7. Delete the existing text and enter a name for your hotspot.
  • 8. To set a password for your hotspot, touch Security.
  • 9. Select a security type (e.g. WPA2 PSK).
  • 10. Touch Password.
  • 11. Enter a password.
  • 12. Touch Done.
  • 13. Touch Save.
  • 14. Touch Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • 15. The portable Wi-Fi hotspot is now active and other devices can connect to it.
