How to turn data services and/or data roaming on/off on my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant

When abroad, we recommend that you turn off data roaming to avoid unwanted roaming charges when using email, web browsing and other data services. If required you can switch the network off so that the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant will not transmit data without a Wi-Fi connection.
1. Touch Menu.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Wireless & networks.
4. Touch Mobile networks.
5. Touch Data roaming.
6. Touch OK.
7. Data roaming is turned off.
Touch Data roaming again to turn data roaming on.
8. To switch the network off completely, touch Use packet data.
9. Data services are now off.
Touch Use packet data again to turn data services on.
Note: The data services setting is only available if you have version 2.2x of the Android software on the phone.
