How to update the software on my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant

When updates are available, upgrading your Galaxy S Vibrant's software can add extra functionality and extra features.
We have used Samsung Kies v2.0.011033_25.
1. Connect the Galaxy S Vibrant to Samsung Kies.
2. Samsung Kies will automatically check for any available updates.
3. When an update is available, you will be asked if you want to upgrade. Click Update.
4. Click I have read all of the above instructions.
5. Click Start upgrade.
6. Select what data you would like to back up.
7. Click Continue.
8. Click Complete.
9. The update process will now begin.
10. The latest firmware will be downloaded to your computer.
11. The updated firmware will be applied to the phone.
12. The phone has been successfully updated.
