How to create and edit a Smart Connect event on my Sony Xperia T3

- Smart Connect events help you automate things you do on your phone frequently, such as sending a text message when arriving at a certain location or putting your phone on silent during a meeting.
In this example, we set up and edit a Smart Connect event that launches the music player whenever headphones are plugged in. - 1. Touch Applications.
- 2. Scroll to and touch Smart Connect.
- 3. If you see this screen, touch OK.
- 4. Touch the + icon.
- 5. Touch Add device.
- 6. Select a trigger (e.g., Headphones).
- 7. Touch Add time.
- 8. Touch Between.
- 9. Scroll to the desired event time.
- 10. Touch Set.
- 11. Touch Done.
- 12. Touch the Next icon.
- 13. Touch Add start action.
- 14. Select a start action (e.g., Play tracks).
- 15. If there are options for the start action, touch the desired option (e.g., Play).
- 16. Touch Add end action.
- 17. Select an end action (e.g., Play tracks).
- 18. If there are options for the end action, touch the desired option (e.g., Pause).
- 19. Touch the Next icon.
- 20. Touch Event name.
- 21. Enter a name for the event.
- 22. Touch Finish.
- 23. The Smart Connect event has been created.
To edit the Smart Connect event, touch the required event. - 24. Touch Edit.
- 25. Touch the Next icon.
- 26. Touch Add start action.
- 27. Select a start action (e.g., Volumes).
- 28. Adjust the volume levels by moving the sliders.
- 29. Touch OK.
- 30. Touch Finish.
- 31. The action has been added.
