How to enable message notifications on my Sony Xperia XA

With message notifications, you can see a notification of new messages in the status bar of your Sony Xperia XA.
1. Touch Apps.
2. Touch Messaging.
3. Touch the Menu icon.
4. Touch Settings.
5. Touch Notifications.
6. Message notifications are now enabled.
Touch Notifications again to disable them.
